About The Teacher

My ESL classes are based around everyday life. We talk about things you do every day while learning vocabulary, pronunciation, and the rhythms of English.   My first job was as an IBM programmer.   Then, I changed my focus to ESL. Currently, I teach ESL classes at Durham Tech and NC State in Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking, Pronunciation, and Conversation classes with students from around the world.  My students have come from many countries, including Japan, China, South Korea, Spain, France, India, Poland, Ukraine, and Egypt.  I love learning about my students, their journey to the U.S., and their cultures!
